The infamous gmae Plumbers don't Wear Ties (and the 3DO as whole) was recently reviewed by the nerd. There is some seriously funny stuff in there.

The system gets more nods in a singe game review than the Jag had for a system review

 that counts for something!

he is a soggy codpiece. His blinkered view (counter to my blinkered view of cause) is that Sega and Nintendo are the be all and end-all. They weren't in the 1990s, they were screwing the industry royally. In the UK, in the early 1990s, if you were twenty something years old,a lot of people thought that the MD and SNES were kids toys. Because most of the games with marketing spend behind them were cutesy platformer games. Then came 3DO with R.E.A.L. and the possibility that naked women might appear in FMV.
Plus the daisy chaining controllers was a better idea than the team-tap because firstly it was free, and secondly it assumes the distance between the players is less than the distance between the console and the players. and it supported 8 players out of the box.
