scan lines in images - your opinion counts.

I've been updating the old blog a bit, and re-covered Alone in the dark and Novastorm. the screenshot, which is what everyone on a 3Do related trip down memory lane wants, have been modified to include scanlines to give them that 1990s magazine screen shot feel.

What do you reckon...? Good idea, bad idea?

I'd rather you didn't, I never liked scanlines back in the day and I don't now. Plus, I don't remember magazine screenshots being full of scanlines anyway, fuzzy yes, liney no.

the whole scan lines thing to emulate what something would look like on a tv never looked quite right to me.

As someone who has been fixing CRT monitors at component level for the last 3-4 years and finally an end is in sight at work.... NO PLEASE NO SCANLINES!!!
