The Adventures of 3DO Kid. Game idea.

Okay guys, I can do the art designs for this game, a side scrolling platformer for the 3DO, I just need some actual artists and coders for the game itself. What do you think? I can get music and all done on my end, I just need to know what you all think on this.

...Yeah - you've gotta find Lemmi's house in the US, scoop out Lemmi's insides before anyone notices and then escape, wearing Lemmis' skin, from the US police and Interpol. Clutching a giant SWAG bag with 3DO written on it. Make it a bit like Pang meets Ghosts n' Goblins meets Lotus Turbo. If we could throw in some naked chicks I think we're onto a winner.

We could revive the old 3DO rating sytem too. Instead of an M , why not slap a 17 on the box?

With a design spec like that we should stick a 99 on the box

Although the game has not been made that wouldn't benefit from Naked Chicks in it. Like it or not - it's a fact!

Hmm, I don't like the idea of redoing Soccer Kid. I am serious about this game too, I want to build it, well, from an artists standpoint. I will have some art here soon, would someone want to host it? That way we can see what shakes loose and possibly when you see what I have in mind, I might actually get some interrest in doing this game.

I think the key is to make a simple game. I've seen too many projects fall by the wayside because they were too fantastic to realise. Think Jeff Minter! Even Blizzards Geometry Wars, something along those lines anyway. Simple addictive, compulsive fun

...of cause it lacks ambition. Unlike mine. It also lacks 'me'. And working nudity in with particle effects is going to be tough. Not impossible mind. We should just go with my idea.

Hmm, how about a remake of Tempest to the 3DO for starters then? We want simple but fun, Tempest would work.
