I had to remake my console list (by memory) and I'm doing it in order of release. Can anyone tell me where to put my "3DO (SANYO)" in this list?

Famicom
NES
Famicom Disk System
TurboGrafx-16
Socrates
Genesis
NEO-GEO (MVS)
Super Famicom

CD-I (910)
LaserActive

Saturn
Jaguar CD
Playstation
3DO (FZ-10)

I really don't know myself, I guess you could Wiki each console, they usually show the console release days on Wiki.

What is a Socrates?

Nice list you got there, I think mine is very close in length, but switch out a few consoles here and there for other ones.

I'm confused, too. Have never heard of it before. I suppose I *could* Wikipedia it.. but what would be the fun in that?

They didn't put down the release dates for those models of 3DO.

*sings* "Gotta new friend, bright as can be, goes by the name of Socrates.
He can teach me math, reading and art, word games too he's really smart."

It was one of those edutainment systems. I wanted one mainly because of the wireless keyboard. There were games on the system and you could put in cartridges (made to look like floppys) for more games, there was one that made him talk even. One of the add-ons was the "magic pencil" basically a drawing tablet with pen, you mimic drawing shapes on the screen with the game that came with it. There were more games that utilized it and (according to wiki) even a CAD cartridge. I'm gonna stop you here, it's not as cool as it sounds, this is for young children. The Socrates character is a cute robot who looks like Johnny 5, this is kinda a gurl thing. I really should get more carts and find the mouse accessory. So if anybody wants to send me some carts there will be 3DO games in it for you.

The robot looks like it owes a plagiarized nod to Johnny 5 from the short circuit movie
