I'm sure there are plenty of dealers taking advantage of the retro market by resealing old titles, but in the instance of the 93-97 era stuff there must be unimaginable quantities of product locked away in warehouses and forgotten about. When the market shifted to Sony in the late 90s thousands of mom-and-pop video game trading stores went out of business as they'd exhausted their lines of credit buying new merchandise, which they'd foolishly traded off, leaving them stuck with enormous quantities of used Sega and Nintendo product nobody wanted. Factoring all the current tech of the time -- 3DO, CDi, NeoGeo, Jag -- and the debut of $1,000 Pentium PCs, and you wind up with millions of software units for all platforms that never sold new and wound up in boxes taken by banks/creditors, sold at public auctions.

Shanghai Triple threat - action pack.

In the UK there is something called the Trades Description Act which basically means people selling stuff can't lie...

I hate it when you get something that is supposed to be sealed and it is obviously shrink wrapped. This is really some crap too. I have gotten stuff like this before and it just makes me mad.

im not saying this one is a resealed game but the fact that the machines to seal things are easy to get nowadays
and the NES market is a prime example of a fight over sealed vs resealed games

i had easy access to one where i used to work and it could seal things 3 different ways with different kinds of wrap, so you could pretty much put the seam anywhere you needed it

Yeah, I used to work in a video store for awhile and my boss had me doing crap like that. It really sucked because I really needed the job or I would have told him to stuff it. Assholes like that shiould get the shit kicked out of them.

Hah, I've heard of that... I thought it was just a PC game, though. Apparently it was developed or published by Panasonic, so I'm guessing the seller either assumed it was for 3DO or purposefully just stuffed an extra keyword in there.

It is amazing the $$ that the 'adult' titles fetch for the 3DO  (not that this title is anything at all like the Vivid stuff) These are the only type of 3DO games that I don't collect.
