VCD adapter FZ-FV 10

Post by Superhero360 » Sat Apr 03, 2010 10:55 am

Does anybody know if the Video CD adaptor FZ-FV 10 works on a Panasonic FZ-1 or a Goldstar? I could buy one but don't know if it will work.

Unlikely, only because of the shape.

You should have gotten it and put it up on eBay at that price :)

lol i know. It was actually on ebay and was sold for 5 bucks so if I would have put my bet in too it would have been more money but not that much more I suppose. It was for the PAL FZ-10 though, don't know if that is yet very valuable.

Ah, now you mention it, I remember I got my FZ10 VCD player from Germany. Maybe they bought loads of them in Germany. I know for a fact they are rare in the UK. So what you do is buy it for 5Euro, sell it to me for 10Euro and I put it on eBay £100. :)

He he  Yes, got to look out for such things now. Who would have thought this would become more and more valuable. Good thing e.g. that I decided to keep my Panasonic FZ-1 box when I bought my player back in the days. 8)

Sorry for dragging up such an old thread.

But in regards to the vcd adapter in question. I noticed 5-6 years ago, that the pal version, does not work with ntsc fz-10's. I got mine from germany as well, and it even has a sticker on it, which is marked as PAL.

These can still be found on german ebay for about €40 i believe. I just picked up a Japanese adapter, and will be interesting to see if this will work on my US fz-10, where the pal adapter failed. The seller described clearly that the japanese one i just bought, will work on other region consoles.

Just abit of info i felt was worth adding to this old thread for future referense.
