Total Eclipse Levels

Post by 3DO Experience » Sat Apr 03, 2010 1:24 pm

I FINALLY managed to open and convert the tracks to this game but there is music to a level I'm unfamiliar with. The track is called Orion. I've never gotten past Aqueous Major so I have no clue where this track should go.

Any players out there that know where this should go?

Hi 3DO Experience,

great news. I always loved the music of Total Eclipse and would love to have the soundtrack as single files :-)
The levels are as follows:

Level 1: Aqueous Major
Level 2: Magma Prime
Level 3: Solarius Centuria
Level 4: Polaris 5
Level 5: Sun Dagger

No Level with the name Orion, I wonder if they planned on doing another level then. Very interesting find!

Hey and you never beat Level 1? No way :) I always die in Level 5 second section. Really intense.

I had gotten the level names from using the level cheat code only to find the names in the Game Secrets book after I couldn't find Orion. There is another track listed secret level but I assume that's the free flying one but don't want to dig out the CD just to check. I can't make the code work with a keyboard.

Oh yes Total Eclipse has a free flight level. I never tried it out though and it is pretty much impossible using the emulator to punch in the code. I'm gonna try it out on my 3DO since I just set it all up the other day and have the games out.

great if there is music in it I'll cut up a sample for you and you can tell me which track it is.

I just tried it out and took a little sample music clip for you using my iPhone. Maybe you can recognize it. To me it sounds like a song from the later levels in the game but I am not sure.
Nice title screen btw. for the bonus level called "Juk-Pular" ;-)

Here is the soundclip:

Yeah that sounds awesome. Do we get space suits in case something goes wrong?
