Do you have descriptions of each of these utilities anywhere? Just a basic idea of what they do is good enough for me.

nope, but most of them have a readme.txt file attached.

Just I will say that the 3DO commander is a great tool that can let you browse through a 3do disc and extract its content.

Hello Mate,

Welcome aboard. You after anything in particular to finish your 3DO collection? 30 years seems about right - it certainly feels like it!

You've probably just joined the most eclectic collection of collectors on Earth. By the way, you'll be excited to hear that you've been promoted to "Official 3DO expert for the country of Greece". and we would all be interested to know what happened to 3DO in Greece!

So, guess what? We're all already waiting for you first report! **

All the best buddy and again welcome!

3DO Kid!

Hey everyone :D I'm into repairing and customizing video game systems and accessories, etc. Especially the older ones. So I'm here to see what I can learn and work on. Any ideas or info that you think might help is greatly appreciated.

Indeed I am. It will be a bit before I start working on it though as I have some other projects that I'm not finished with. Thanks for the welcome.

Hello everyone, just thought I'd say hi as I've just tripped over this place.

My 3DO history goes something like this, I worked in a computer shop when the 3DO was released but couldn't afford it. For a long time I forgot about it until I made the mistake of looking for 3DO on eBay a couple of years ago. A mistake because I'm an obsessive collector and have made up for not getting one then!

So now I've got 5 different boxed 3DOs, an M2 proto (FZ-DR21), bunch of other hardware (missing the steering wheel...), all but 6 of the US releases in their long boxes and 100 odd Japanese games - help!

I'm in the process of moving shortly, so it's all boxed up at this point, but once I'm settled again I'll be happy to post them.

Now, who wants to sell me a Dinopark Tycoon? :)

An FZ-DR21 is not an M2 proto, you know. It's just the external CD-ROM drive for the dev card; there's no M2 hardware inside.

Welcome anyway! :D

Well yes, it's the development drive, but it's clearly a design prototype! I hadn't taken it apart to know what was inside it, but knew I wasn't going to be putting a disc in for a quick game anytime soon :)

Well, guess it's good for a post_count++; :P

I got a 3do system from an online classified ad (craig's list) bundled up with a turbografx and psx (all for 20$, gloat). Since then I fell in love with the 3do and it's amazingly terrible library of games.

After obtaining my 3do, it was time to play some games! Luckily I have a fairly large library of games (see my game list post) at my disposal, so the hard part was finding the games worth playing. I eventually found the 3dokid's reviews and loved them and that's how I ended up here.

I'm currently a college student wasting his time with retro gaming =)
