I have to say the 3DO is one of the best video game purchases I have made! I play it all the time, it was WELL worth the $5 for the system and $10 for the brand new Panasonic controller. $700 worth of fun for $15 you can't beat that!

I was able to get the FZ-1 and FZ-10 with three controllers and a good handful of games for £100 and I still think it was a bargain lol

Of course, I already had that £80 in PayPal so it really only cost £20, but my point still stands lol.

That is a pretty good deal right there! Still I'd rather pay $5 for a used system

Got the Goldstar 3DO when I was eight or nine years old in 1994-1995. My dad was generous, but I feel like a spoiled brat thinking back to those days. I barely got any games and the games I did get weren't ones I played much.

My interest renewed a couple years ago. The thing was lying around and I figured I might as well go back and discover many of the games I missed. I admit they're not very good, but there's a certain charm and thrill in playing games I know most of the world has never experienced.

I get excited sifting through the forgotten relics of the past, especially now that contemporary gaming doesn't offer me much. Besides, all the new consoles' virtual stores don't offer anything in the way of the less popular consoles.

3DO on the virtual console, now that would be awesome!

then someone could crack the emulator and we would have the entire 3DO library on the Wii

I agree, that is why I was totally shocked to find one at a local flea market here in Indiana. It was one of the most exciting days I have had in a while.
