3DO Content Library

Post by bitrate » Sat Jun 25, 2011 1:20 am

I got this a short while ago, and haven't had a chance to look through them yet, but I did get some pretty pictures taken.

This set includes disks 50 through 75. When I get a chance to rummage through them this weekend maybe I'll upload some samples if there is any interest.

What are they supposed to be exactly?

It should be tons and tons of cleared audio and video and efects files that developers could make use of in their games.

Ah, very nice! Basically the equivalent of sample libraries. That's cool! :)

nice find. I haven't seen complete sets in many years. It's a shame people split up the libraries.

Thats just crazy. I also wonder where the hell do you guys even get these kinds of stuff?

Don't be surprised now that someone will want you to actually upload your ENTIRE collection. Yea, have fun ripping all those discs  .

Would be very interesting to actually "use" them as sound-over for a 3DO tribute movie, for example ==> awbacon, where are you?
Thanks bitrate.

Do those discs have audio samples also as redbook CD audio or are they purely data discs?

I'm biting my (err holding my fingers) from asking to up all the discs, plus also that seems like too much data to up even on megaupload or something.

But I am curious about the 'samples' enough to WISH that I could get whats on those discs. *sigh*
