While i know you shouldnt try to use sega controllers with your 3DO, it should be safe to use the sega extension cables with the 3DO controllers right?

I have no problem with cable length on the original gamepad, but some after market controllers are shorter, and also the official arcade stick needs abit more cable.

3DO-branded extensioncables are so hard to find, but sega ones are much easier.

Should be safe right?

Yes, the Sega branded extension cables are safe for use with a 3DO.

Any RS232 DB9 terminated serial cable that is a pass-through will work with the 3DO. Just stay away from null modem serial cables or anything that isn't a straight pass-through and you will be safe.
