How is it?
Snagged one on eeeBay for what I felt to be a reasonable price ($18ish after shipping?), CIB of course.
What do you think of the game? Good? Bad? To my understanding, it's a top-down run 'n gun-ish game. Sounds like my cup of tea, especially since there aren't many like it on the platform.

It's a great game to let off steam with - a late exclusive that's definitely worth owning

I've mixed feelings on CQ. Its a great looking game! But the control isn't quite as responsive as I hoped (it could just be inherit of the games viewing angle) I also feel like this game has a bit of an identity crisis ... for an arcade style game, the levels seem to run long (why do I need to collect codes for ex?) 2 player co-op saves it for me though.

I agree with this. I don't think the isometric view works at all. It should been similar to Commando or Jackal, but the angle it's set too balls it all up.Trev wrote:I've mixed feelings on CQ. Re: Captain Quazar
I remember seeing this in 1996, and wanting it badly. It was the first game I got when I finally got a 3DO. The game concept seems like it would be fun, but quickly gets old. The controls don't work all that well either; it needs a lot of diagonal movement.Austin wrote:How is it?
