While playing my japanese version of Super Streetfighter 2, ive never managed to find a button that gives him is original red outfit.. Anyone know if he's done away with it for that game? I really dont care for the "new" colours they get with the "sequals" after the original title, so this is a little annoying...

Brace yourself. It's not possible. Ryu neither.

Oh, how i tried.

I also wanted the car and barrel bashing sub game.

Gone too.

It's brilliant conversion marred by a lack of understanding of the customer. Ryu in White with a red band, Ken in orange.

Yeah i really like this version of SF2, and i tend to use Ken in the black/grey outfit since red is lacking. What colour is ryu's headband normaly? I forgot..

Yes, it is. Very irritating, to be honest.

The arcade game of SSFIIT is just as much at fault though, so it's not the 3DO version's wrongdoing.

Wow! I had no idea this was true! That sucks! I had tried several different buttons but could never keep track of all I'd tried, so I assumed I missed it.

I think Player 2 gets different color schemes, are those also ineffectual?

Sounds like it's time for a hack?
