3DO ZONE Forums

At lunch one day a few of my friends and I discussed what characters you'd see on an XBox Super Smash Brothers. Instead of Mario and Luigi, you'd see Master Chief and Commander Shepard.

I starting pondering if I could even come up with enough 3DO characters for a 3DO super smash brothers. Here are some ones I thought would work well:

* Carnby , the male character from Alone in the Dark (Just think of that kick!)
* Gex. Plenty of obvious fighting moves on this guy.
* Soccer Kid
* Perfect One from Immercenary.

Real quick off the top of my head ...

Captain Quazar

The dude from BladeForce

Cyberdillo

The x man from need for speed

Uncle Fez from Twisted

Everyone from Road Rash, if we can choose multi system games.

Heck yeah. Ports or games based off other lore should be fair game. I think we'd pretty much have to anyway. I would choose Mike or Rhonda from Road Rash, they seems the most unique.

Hell, why not the "pyramid" from Ice-breaker while we're at it!

For me, a 3DO version of Super Smash Bros. would have to include the pervert boss from Plumbers Don't Wear Ties as a playable character:


Instead of "Hadouken!!", he would say: LINK

Flopon the Space Mutant would make a good Kirby/Pikachu knock-off character.

Yes, Hordling is definitely a must. Same with pervert boss from PDWT.

I got a couple more from games I played:

Adam from Lost Eden.
The Chef from PO'ed.
Johnny Bazookatone ... ugh... we'll make that character suck.

and I'm quite proud of this one:

Dennis Miller, from Dennis Miller - That's News To Me

We're forgetting the two most obvious opponents.

Any model from the Vivid titles is a must, of course. It's not a real game unless you feel like you need a shower after playing it.

And the best character of them all.



The Owner of Kid-TV. He's a kid but he's a ruthless business mogul and would probably sell his own mother for an extra couple of bucks. Imagine what he'd do on the battlefield?

I've been looking through these "cards". Is this for a fighting game? I can't really figure out what it's for.

I'm not sure that I recognized any characters from 3DO games on there, ports included.

It's an extreme MUGEN hack. 2d figther that customizable to the extreme. The site is pretty limited so just youtube to see some of the matchups.

That amount of characters made to date is insane.
