Star Wars Chess?

Hello,

So I've been working through a checklist of U.S. releases in building up my collection. I've been moving through alphabetically and have reached the heart of the 'S' section. Star Wars Chess is listed as a U.S. release on my checklist, and although I can find a few websites that reference a 3DO version of the game, I have not been able to find anything definitive to indicate the game was ever actually released on the system. No pictures, no reviews and after about two years of monitoring Ebay, no sale in sight. So, I know Star Wars Rebel Assault was released, and Battle Chess was released, but was Star Wars Chess released?

It was not a released title in the US. This is the first I have heard of it.

Ive seen it was made in 1993 by Software Toolworks. The only physical versions I know of were on Sega CD and PC ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_wars_games#1990s ). I have not seen a 3DO version of it. Nor have I seen an ISO of it floating around.

The only home console I am aware of this releasing on was the Sega CD. I can say with 99.99% certainty that it never was released on the 3DO anywhere.

Well, I am glad I came to the experts. I can scratch that one off of my list. Thanks everyone!

Battle Chess is on 3DO though, and I believe Star Wars Chess is based off of that engine, pretty much the same game but with obvious cosmetic differences.
