Brain Dead 13 ver 1.1?

Post by Coffeejits » Mon Aug 06, 2012 1:41 pm

I just purchased a copy of Brain Dead 13 , and I'm curious to know if anyone has ver 1.1 in their collection? I noticed that the box and Disc 1 has "ver 1.1" on the label; however, this label is absent on Disc 2. Does anyone else have ver 1.1, and if so, is "ver 1.1" on both discs? Otherwise, how do you determine if you have the patched version or not?

1.1 is patched
it's only for one disc.

It fixes a bug in a scene that would sometimes crash or loop.

You could obtain 1.1 by requesting a copy from the company, or getting a later print of the game.

Vivi's Salon (The manicure) caused major crashes/errors in the game. Version 1.1 was Readysoft's fix. Between the delay in BD13's release, the cost in replacement of the defective games, and the poor reception of Robinson's Requiem, it's small wonder why Readysoft went the way of the dodo.

You can definitely still beat the game with the 1.0 release.

There is an order you have to do the events at ViVi's Salon or it crashes.

I played through it again this week. This is one of my favorite QTE action games.

Thanks for the replies. Just making sure that I didn't purchase a set of discs that were a mix of 1.0 and 1.1. Now if I can just find the time to sit down and play the game.
