Name of game I never knew.

Ok, here's the deal: I was born in 1982. So, when I was a teenager, I would check out the videogame magazines that arrived to my country in the pre-Internet era. Around 1994, I saw this new game console: the 3DO. Of course, I couldn't have possibly afford the price of it, but wasn't honestly too obssessed by it anyway. However, for whatever reason, I did get obssessed with a screenshot of a game for the 3DO I saw in one magazine. Ever since, I have always wanted to know the name of that game. And maybe some more information about it. The reason I got so fixated with the picture is that I felt curious about what it was since I couldn't figure out anything about the game from looking at it, and also because I thought that the girl in it looked cute.

It's been over 15 years and I've got fuzzy memories from back then, but I'll try to describe it the best I can. There aren't that many games for the 3DO, so there's a good chance someone in here could help me out.

The ingame screenshot showed a picture of a teenaged redheaded girl. I looked like one of those old files from before digital databases, maybe with a clip holding a note. Over to the side, or somewhere on the file, the words: "BAD GIRL" where written or something similar.

I know this description is rather vague, but there can't be that many 3DO games that feature such a thing.

Anyway, I hope somebody can help me out. Goodbye and thanks in advance from Argentina.

Guessing FMV or FMV-Heavy right off the bat. That takes out Taiketsu Rooms and Flopon the Space Mutant at least. You don't happen to remember the magazine? With that I could look through all of the issues in 1994 and find one that clearly features 3DO from the cover and it should be smooth sailing from there.

Problem is you can't recognize the title when if I tell it to you. So there's not much point in listing out all the FMV games, and there's a lot, a lot of great ones too, believe it or not. It wasn't a bad genre.

Here's hoping someone who has played through the game will see this, because for them helping you out shouldn't be too hard. How many 3DO FMV games star Red Heads? :P

Aw crap, it couldn't have been Crime Patrol 1 or 2?

Or Psychic Detective?

I'm at least guessing not Night Trap.

Thanks. But I am not convinced.

Thanks for answering. I don't know if it was a FMV. But I don't think it was Night Trap or Crime Patrol. Actually, from what I remember, it might have been something like a simulation game, or perhaps a detective game (so it could be Psychic Detective). However, in the picture I have in mind the girl is fashioned like in the early 1990s and she was probably in a school or some other building. What I mean to say is that it didn't look supernatural at all.
I think the key could be the words "BAD GIRL" which were written in her "profile". After all how many 3DO games have something so specific?

Almost sounds like Crimson Glory from Way of the Warrior.

Who knows if the title was even released? So many 3DO games were previewed that never saw the light of day ...

In any event, w/such little info, vs. hundreds of 3DO games, it will be tough to get much info I think.

Thanks for all the replies. But I think the girl was a teenager. The woman from the Way of the Warrior doesn't look like it's the right one. I'm starting to think it was indeed a promo for a game that never got released.
I don't remember which magazine I saw the screenshot, but it was an american one. Probably IGM, or GameFan, or maybe GamePro.

You're welcome. :)

The game is Station Invasion. It is a kid oriented version of Twisted.

Having a visual or a chorus to a song, something that you like but can't figure it out after years, can get pretty maddening. That happened to me with one particular song....for 6 years. Finally figured it out and GOOOOD that felt good.
