Price check on Aisle 4

Post by Martin III » Sat Nov 17, 2012 4:17 pm

I recently started my search for Iron Angel of the Apocalypse: The Return in earnest, so I checked out RarityGuide.com and saw it is valued at $9 complete-in-box. However, on surveying Ebay, all listings for the game have a starting bid of at least $20, excepting only disc-only copies. Now, almost no one is bidding on these listings, and we all know that asking rates for 3DO game fluctuate wildly. But, that also means that it's harder for RarityGuide.com to keep accurate listings for 3DO games.

So, I'm asking here for second opinions: What do you all think is the lowest price I can snag a complete-in-box copy of Iron Angel of the Apocalypse: The Return for?

You might consider getting an import copy as it'll be a fair amount cheaper. Of course they don't come in a long box, just a jewel case w/spine card.

I got a CIB copy that still had the disc portion sealed, for $13 a year or two back.

I managed to snag the first one brand new at a gaming convention for $17 clams. He had a copy of Syndicate as well, but I passed on it becuase I have a minty boxed copy on the Jaguar.

I've been searching for it too, best of luck tracking it down :)

Thanks! It does seem to not be showing up on Ebay or Craig's list lately - oh, how I wish I had an independent game seller within 100 miles of where I live. But I'll find it sooner or later!

Never knew this was scarce. Just checked my collection and I must have picked it up long ago. I haven't put that much time into these games yet.

Just because people are trying to charge a lot for something doesn't necessarily mean it's scarce. I mean we are talking ePay.

I think 3DO games in general have dried up over the years and you don't see many games on a terribly frequent basis, but the demand for them is next to nothing. The prices you see on places like eBay are usually ridiculous BIN rates that aren't a true reflection of the level of demand out there.
