CD-ROM of contents is the same as the U.S. version.

※There may be some which I do not know yet.

If the information from my Japan becomes the support to everybody of this forum, it is happy.

How many kinds of 3DO games really exist all over the world? :)
Because I make a note using translation software, I think that it becomes a poor English sentence.
I'm sorry.

If there is rude expression, please point it out.
Thanking you in advance.

Great list. Thank you Fujisan.

The lists of games that I have seen for all (EU/US/JPN) releases tends to be wrong and not complete.

One problem is that in Japan the games had entirely different names and are often counted twice. And games from Japan that are included in the list at all.

I think the total number of games for 3DO world wide was 300+

Indeed, thanks for the list! I haven't got any Japanese releases for my 3DO yet, but this is a nice reference just to know what's out there.

Although I am not so interested in an article not for sale or a demo version,
it is very much interested how many things sold over the counter regularly in the United States there are.

I ask some questions.
Did the "Dragon Tycoon Edge(ドラゴン・タイクーン・エッジ)" "simulation tower(ザ・タワー)" release it in the United States of America (long box) in the past?
In addition, has "Defcon 5(デフコン5)" been released in the long box in the past?
Best regards

Defcon 5 outside of Japan was UK-only. I don't believe their games had longboxes. I know for certain from owning it that the UK Defcon 5 came in a double-sized CD case.

Dragon Tycoon was not released in the US (correct me if I'm wrong, 3DO experts! :)).

No, those games were not released in North America.

However, a North American release of Defcon 5 was very close. Here is a picture of a Defcon 5 NA build I have. It was very close to having a long-box release.

When there would not be only a long shot box of "Defcon 5" which was why, I doubted much more, and I watched a photograph of the collection of member of this forum and I felt it.

Thank you for an answer! :D
Now I understand!
Still, the photograph which you placed is a very precious thing!

In the same way as "Defcon 5 ," "Dragon Lore" became the release cancellation in Japan. I was sad at that time.

Doom is another one that almost had a Japan release. The "plug" must have been pulled at the very last minute on Doom for Japan. I uploaded that video of the president of Art Data Interactive visiting Japan and talking about how Doom was all set to be released there. There's probably a Japanese build of Doom out there somewhere.

Defcon 5 had been advertised here in the States. I even remember a detailed preview (EGM2 I think) where the 3DO version was being praised in comparison to the other versions. I should see if I can find the article and scan it.
Most wanted - Eye of Typhoon, 3DO Magazines issues #14 & #15, Pro Stadium, Defcon 5

The Japanese edition of "DOOM" is counted as one of 214 total number, but, actually, the contents are things same as an edition in America.

<Breakdown of the "DOOM" Japanese edition>
●DOOM (thing same as the contents of the long box for United States) for United States.

           +

●Japanese manual

           +

●Japanese capture method map

The thing which kept in these three combinations is generally called "Japanese edition DOOM".
Besides, as for this DOOM, it was not released store and was the circulation only by a mail order in those days. Therefore there was very little circulation number and has become the thing with the scarcity value very much now.
By the way. I have the Japanese manual of this DOOM, but do not have the capture method map.(Still I cost 150 dollars to obtain this at auction.)

※Because this photograph is the thing which I picked up from the Internet, it is not the thing which I have.

Because I make a note using translation software, I think that it becomes a poor English sentence.
I'm sorry.

Thanking you in advance.

Thank you for information! :D

It is good to have you here FUJISAN. :D

Can you take a picture of your Japanese Doom manual and post it here? I would be interested in seeing it.

Also, the link that you posted does not seem to be working.
