I was troubling myself with security issues, and updated the DB and we may have lost some topics. Blame the drunk admin. And by drunk admin, I mean me. Sorry. [Hangs head in shame]

Sorry to nitpick, but as I recall that thread was started before I joined these boards. I just necro'd it so I could ask whether it made sense to play Super Wing Commander before Wing Commander III.

Anyway, the important thing is, the security issues you refer to are dealt with, right 3DOKid? ...Right?

Yeah. The DB is surprisingly large on here. I had to copy it off and copy it back. Only patience isn't one of my virtues. Blame me

Many of these can probably be restored from Google Cache if we act fast and know what to look for. Might seem silly to bother, but I've seen too many valuable threads disappear on other sites. One board, for example, had an eyewitness account of an incident I've never seen mentioned anywhere else (person getting killed by a thrown firecracker at a concert), but it got lost in a purge of some kind. Because I didn't save a copy it seems to be lost forever, and I don't remember who the author was.
