I have a stupid question.

Am I the only one who, whenever they see this game mentioned, immediately pictures a crowd of people gathered outside a courthouse, carrying signs and chanting,

"Who shot!
Johnny Rock?!
Who shot!
Johnny Rock?!"

I assume it's a long lost sequel to Who Framed Roger Rabbit?

You are correct, but it was written when the film was under it's working title "Who Censored Roger Rabbit?" where Roger gets shot in the end.
