Several independent importers modified Panasonic versions for local sale , but Goldstar did give it an official Australian release. It struggled due to a lack of Goldstar distributors here in Australia and because they elected to base it on the Hong Kong release which was 240v but still NTSC. Only newer high end TV's were dual system which meant purchasing a system converter. I personally bought one in late 1995.
