You Americans may be better at this than me*. I have a complete and near perfect set of 3D0 Magazines with CD's.
What's the best way of storing/preserving them?

I wouldn't know what to tell you about the CD's themselves. If they come in their own sleeves, keep them in those, but go get yourself some acid free backboards and magazine poly-bags from your local comic book shop. They do make them for mags. AND, they also make Magazine storage boxes as well! So, slip your magazines in the poly-bags with the Backboards and also slip the CD's in with them and pop them in the acid free box and voila! Now your nice, and crispy collection is taken care of for ages to come!
This is a stick up! Put all of your 3DO games in the bag and nobody gets hurt!

I have quite a few options near to me, however, I will admit... 'local comic book shop' isn't something you find readily available in the UK!

Hmm, wasn't aware of that. Well, you could probably find the items on ebay or Amazon for what I would think would be reasonable prices. However, keep in mind that shipping of a Magazine Box might not be the cheapest due to the size of the box. Saying what I said earlier is still your best option though as the stuff works and the materials are out there to do so.NeoGeoNinja wrote:Forbidden Planet, perhaps?3DOKid wrote:...local comic book shop?

Yeah I need some bags that will hold Euro magazines myself.
"Wait. You don't have a bag of charcoal in your gaming room???"

By the way... How was Electronic Gaming Monthly's coverage of the 3DO and its library? I've been thinking of picking up some back issues.
