Hi,
I am Completely new here and this is my first post
As a new owner of a glossy new FZ-1 System, I have a question.
I've read on the internet that some FZ-1s (Wtih a glossy top) have internal differences with FZ-1s with a flat top.
Truthful or just a rumor?
Thanks,
Blades

After reading over that thread, it appears that there's a mistake in there.
According to this:
http://www.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?t=82173
The Glossy Topped 3DO Came First while the Flat one was a cost-reduced cheapie version. But your version lists the vice-versa.
So which one's right?
Sorry for bumping the thread but the truth must be known!!

The one on Digital Express is incorrect. The glossy one came out after the one with larger speckles.

Yeah, I would go by the dates on the interior... The white speckled one has an earlier date silkscreened on the board and a CD ROM drive with an earlier manufacture date.

Yeah, You're Prolly Right. But in any case, the glossy one looks a hell of a lot better than the dull one.

Plus mine was bought very shortly after the release date. There is one thing I always wondered about. I recall seeing one, can't recall where, but the screen with the 3DO and a CD with an arrow pointing it the tray was different. Mine has your normal silver disc while the other one's disc looked like the Panasonic Sampler. Anyone know if that is different on all the second versions?
