Thanks. :) Though I'm not that happy that you uploaded it at youtube (crappy quality, weired format, etc.). I thought you could provide a good-quality avi or mpeg, which I could then use to build a demo disc that would run on the M2 kiosk unit. But I guess I have to hunt down that 3DO Live! cover disc myself.

there was an article in Retro Gamer saying that an uncompiled, none-signed, unecrypted version of D2 for the M2 did indeed exist. It also said that the dev PC's that held D2 now no longer existed...

I've talked to Kenji Eno and he told me that he doesn't have anything of D2 left. It's unlikely that someone else has, so this game is most likely lost forever. :(

That's what most former M2 devs said when I talked to them. Not surprising though, as those where Macs, not PCs.

Do you get Retro Gamer in Germany? It was an article in there. A good one too!

Not sure about whole Germany, but it's not available in the small city I live.

Didn't Warp release a Sega Saturn import title that had hidden footage from D2 M2? (Can't remeber the name, but I read about it in DieHard Gamefan)

'tis true - they did. I have that version of D2 for my DC. I guess I better look into it!

??? Was the same footage in D2 for the Dreamcast? I was actually thinking of a japanese Saturn release (something sound ... a game that was just audio, no graphics) Ring any bells?

Ah never mind, I just realized my mistake. I did not realize that 'Real Sound' was remade for the DC. Any good? I can play imports on my DC, I'm wondering if it is worth importing.

Nice stuff, just get ready to guess alot as there is a language barrier. Too bad this game was not released stateside.
This is a stick up! Put all of your 3DO games in the bag and nobody gets hurt!

"Real Sound"? That game without any graphics? Hard to believe that it contains any hidden D2 for M2 stuff. But if it does, it's most likely the other part of the intro (the San Francisco scene).
