FMV? Hmm. I love FMV. The guy who directed Corpse Killer emailed me because I incorrectly accredited Tom Zito. Which was cool. So Corpse Killer is B-Movie'tastic in my book.

and, errr...

Virtual Cameraman 1. You can say what you want (and you will no doubt) but Anna Juri (I guess she meant July) for-the-win.

3DO Kid.

Sorry, talking about Sewer Shark. Yeah, I hope you all knew that though. Corpse Killer was awesome man, The late great Vincent Chiavelli was in that sucker and he was cool as Hell man!

Hmm. FMV games about it's true. Dragon's Lair will always be near and dear to my heart. But here's some classics that are all FMV, or just have some great FMV in them :

Ground Zero Texas (Sega CD) - A game that deserves a sequel! FMV or just FPS, it'd be cool!

Shockwave II (3DO) - B-Movie and loving it!

Corpse Killer (3DO & Sega CD) - Vincent Schiavelli was cool. Story was VERY disjointed and his character ended up seeming even more disjointed than the story.

Off-World Interceptor (3DO, Saturn & PS) - How can an MST fan not enjoy such great riffing on bad movie cut scenes.

Voyeur (CD-i) - Cool, adult title, but surprizingly good acting for an FMV soap opera.

Burn : Cycle (CD-i & PC) - Cyber-punk, and ultra strange. But still very fun to play for a while.

D no Shotaku : Director's Cut (3DO) - An already intruiging FMV title, with newer longer, or just rethought scenes. Worth the money originally, now, hmm... $200 on ebay... nah!

Wing Commander 3 (3DO) - Possibly the best thing Mark Hammil did outside of the Star Wars franchise. 3DO's video blew away the PC.

Virtual Cameraman series (3DO & Laseractive) - Ok, gotta agree with 3DO kid on this one. So what! It's glorified porn disguised as a game. Requires more controller work than most games (of the day) in the same genre. Laseractive's video was top notch too!

Cliffhanger (Arcade, not that Stallone garbage game) - Just too weird for it's day, and even strange now to see this anime as an interactive title. Enjoyable, but hard as hell to find outside of major arcades in the 80s.

I remember just before the Sega CD came out a UK mag gave away a video with clips of some of the first games.
When Sewer shark and Night trap came on, me and my buddies were like "WOW ITS THE FUTURE!!!" :)

FMV games are badass, Linear choices RoCkXXXssS!!!11one

My fave (outside of laserdisc games) is probably Voyeur, cos when it first came out I was real young and thought I was being really "edgy" by playing it haha :)
Psychic detective is cool too.

Starblade, especially on the 3DO, was an awesome as Hell FMV game. That game just did stuff people weren't expecting. Loved it and still do to this day.
