So - as requested. Is cheating easy for you, or hard?

You vote - but you don't comment. Why?

Football (soccer) is often boring -- I knew this at 5 years old and to be honest, the situation has only gotten worse.

there's no vote for both on the poll. So I will just comment. :)

Also, just FYI for most people, I have also been planning game guru codes for Decathlon, Grand Chef and a few others (time permitting) to be added to the Collective. Any requests for other games? (more recipie instructions for Grand Chef too!)

There are no Japanese players on the forum. Except Ms 3DO Kid, and she has been playing Chibi Robo gardening on the damned DS. She owes me anyway - tomorrow we play!

...Gir you seem to know Japanese language pretty good - what would it take to do a fansub of Grand Chef (it's possibly the most Japanese game ever made - ever!)

...

3DO kid.

ok my comment, well is it really a cheat? I mean I tried everything I can think of to unlock it. That includes playing the game 3 times in a row getting all 4 beetles each time and even editing the file for the novel. I've been waiting for years to access this, and I would like to know both ways of accessing the features.

I was thinking of doing that too but the only thing besides changing scores I could think of doing was editing names but I figured out how to do that without the guru. The only other thing I can think of is finding a way to change the stats, but honestly I don't think I'll play the game that much.

But these new games do get me thinking of starting to sell The Ultimate 3DO Guide again. This CD has every hint, tip, cheat, combo, code, password, walkthrough, map, strategy, solution, & FAQ’s I cold find plus new Game Guru codes and game bugs.

Where'd you get the new Guru codes? 3DO today or elsewhere?

I made them, plus there is a file I have in there from some site, can't remember where, but that was a freebie in an update anyway.

I should also point out that this cheat, is so secret, so esoteric, so utterly unseen in the West... Well - you know. It's a rare cheat. (or something)

Gamefaqs doesn't have it. The old NNTP forums (rec.games.video.3do) doesn't have it.

I'll cheat, if I feel the game is being unfair. If it's so tough my enjoyment of the game is being killed then I'll use cheats. But, come to think of it, its been many years. New games just aren't that hard.

Ok, seems the "the simple life" wins out. Heh. ok. Technically there are 3 different ways to do this, but here's the easiest.

This is the menu glitch trick :

1.> From the main menu, choose : "D" Coming Soon!
2.> At the new menu, move your cursor to III and wait for about 2 minutes for the demo video to start to run again.
3.> Press A and you'll be back at the main menu with your cursor now highlighting the "D" goes Overseas.
4.> Press A to access that option.

You can access the 'Best Scene of 'D'' by repeating this process, but at step 2, highlight IV instead of III.

The most difficult trick is to do what I did a few years back and make & alter a CD image to change the menu settings. (this is the disc I used to make the video on YouTube. :) ) After I'd found out the glitch above, it was pretty simple though, it just takes time to find the right spots.

The real trick to unlocking it and keeping it unlocked though is hinted at throughout the novel. I count this is the medium difficulty trick, but if you don't read Japanese, it'd be counted as the toughest then.

I hope you folks have fun!

Kanpai!

Thank you soooo much, as my Japanese is extremely poor I never would have gotten it from the novel.

Yeah, that was cool. I can't believe the German ending was cut! Seeing a comparison in the Best scenes of "D" was pretty cool, just makes me wish everything was in there heh.

Ok so what is the way of keeping it unlocked that's hinted at throughout the novel?
