I have at least one early dvd player that will not give up and a couple of cd players - I just think that when something is relatively new it tends to be over engineered - take blu ray for example - I have one of the first Sony units playing non stop in the store - no issues - the current batch from Sony and Samsung have had 100% failure from continuous flogging.

I know that at home it is unlikely that they'll crank up the same hours of running time in a year but why should it matter?

I do like Trip and RJs enthusiasm.

I remember that clip from when it was broadcast on TV here in the UK. That show used to be on around mid-day on a Saturday. I think, if i remember correctly, that show was broadcast around the launch date of the 3DO in UK.
