Since we have a thread for the best on 3DO, I thought it might be fun to do one for the worst. So, which games bring the most shame to the 3DO console?

My list would be

1 - Plumbers don't wear ties
2 - Mad Dog McCree
3 - VR Stalker
4 - Stellar 7, Draxon's Revenge
5 - BC Racers

Way of the Warrior

Whats the criteria? Worst graphics or worst sound, or worst gameplay? Or just the *worst* of the worst?

Shanghai Triple Threat? I love that game. It was one of the few I could get my wife to play.

Mahjong? I've gotta say, its only fun when the loser loses item of clothes. Beyond that, well, you're on your own.

even then its boring, unless they are right in front of you for real
the only reason i have it is because i had to, to complete the collection

real pinball and Hell are pretty bad but i would actually put those in my 3do again to play :)

real pinball alway hurt me hard. I loved Pinball fantasies on the Amiga, and wanted more of the same on the 3DO.

Hell? I often think about playing this again, but it never gets much beyond that.

If you loved Pinball Fantasies on the Amiga, get the Jaguar version, It's an upgrade.

I always wanted a good 3D pinball game on the 3DO (not like Pataank, but a real pinball simulator), like some of the ones the Saturn has...to be honest though, I've not tried any of the 3DO pinball games, are there any others besides Real pinball?

Pataank rocks though!

Fire Ball springs to mind.

True Pinball of the PSX was pretty good to.

I was just listing my personal worst of the worst.

I like the Jag version of Pinball Fantasies better than the Amiga one too ... much more colorful, no load times, and the control even seems a bit tighter.

There is an import 3DO title called Battle Pinball (3DOKid has a review on his site)

Glad I'm not the only one who loves PaTaank! :P
Fire Ball springs to mind.
Isn't this just the japanese version of 'Real Pinball'?

Real Pinball and Fire Ball are the same exact game.

And yeah, Hell. The concept was nifty and the plot twist at the end was pure awesome, but getting there required really soul numbing fetch quests and bizarrely-conceived logic puzzles. The only thing worthwhile until the last fifteen minutes of gameplay would be Dennis Hopper ranting like his life depended on it.

The CG looked like some kind of puppet show from, appropriately enough, Hell. But the game animations were tepid, and actions only came with audio confirmations that they had happened. As if they just couldn't be bothered to use their animated characters to show an action animation. It felt cheap cheap cheap and rushed.

Take Two went on to design some stellar adventure titles like Black Dahlia. Hell... just wasn't one of them.

Corpse Killer is pretty good. IMHO. In so much that it achieved what it set out to be.

I exchanged some emails with the maker and he told me that it came out exactly as it was intended. B-Movie zombie flick. Apparently, the script write wrote to the film Childs Play. (chuckie the doll?) I don't think it's bad by any means - more misunderstood.

Cyberdillo? Yes. Rubbish.

I actually think Cyberdillo is decent. Before anyone gripes (I'm looking your way 3DOKid) I have to ask who here has played the game at length? I was actually very close to beating it (before my Goldstar player died) and I found the game to be fairly addicitve, and the later levels quite intersting. For those of you who popped it in your player and ejected it 15 mins later, I say give it a fair shot.

Thought I'd bump this thread too.

I still stand by my choice as Plumbers for worst ever!

3DOKid, I'd love to see a Youtube clip similar to the one you did w/the top 5 games as voted by fans! :D

Actually, that is kind of a nervy thing to beg for I guess ...

Well, I had listed VR Stalker as my #3 worst game of all time but someone one this forum whom I will not name (hint - he runs the competing 3DO Maniac forum  ) insists that this game is good. So, I'm gonna give it one more run ...

Not in any particular order

1 Virtuoso (stoooooopid)

2 Doom(ported by a team out of their depth)

3 Microcosm ( stupidly had it on CD32 as well!)

4 Supreme Warrior ( thought was there)

5 anything with ESPN in the Title

Looks like there are 20 or so nominees so far ... but only 4 games have more than 1 vote each ...

Plumbers
VR Stalker
Stellar 7
Doom

I know its painful, but we gotta keep playing crap so we can all vote!

I actually like some fmv games and was sorry it died completely as a genre. The 3do saw the best (snowjob , psychic detective) and the worst (plumbers , nighttrap) but it also proved it could be used effectivly in other games (shockwave , NFS , Wing III) to enhance. No offence to you Nikex but I get upset they get tarred with the same brush as the 3do also gets tarred with the same brush from countless magazines , reviews etc
I'm with you on the others though!

How about Rise of the Robots instead?
