I'm a big 3DO fan and have just joined.
I'm soon going to purchase a 32` Sony 32D3000 HD ready LCD TV.
Could people please leave their experiences on the picture quality using a 3DO FZ-1/FZ-10 when using a S-video lead on a HDTV preferably on one of the latest models, thanks.

i was never happy with straight up svideo or anything non progressive scan on my HD tv with any systems.
i ended up doing a rgb mod to my fz1 then using a xrgb2 plus to upscan the rgb to vga(progressive scan video) and connected that to the vga port on my HD tv.

I was more referring to the fact that 3DO games were probably not ever tested on a thirty-two foot television. But my sense of humor is horrible.
Anyway, I played a few 3DO games on a 47" projection a few years back over S-Video. Looks as good as 3DO will ever get, which isn't saying a whole hell of a lot. Some graininess, but notably cleaner than regular composite.

I work in an electrical retail store and have taken my 3do to work and tried it out on everything from 50 inch plasmas to 22 inch lcds - my advice is to try and buy the best possible 81cm or 68cm 4:3 CRT with s-video and leave it at that.1993 gaming looks like rubbish on flat panels , the light guns dont work and you need to change the screen to 4:3 anyway to get a decent picture
