Played this game years ago, but playing it through to completion for the first time now. Anytime I play a game that lets you choose to be nice or be a jerk, I always (w/the exception of 'The Bard's Tale') pick nice ... the first time through. Good replay value if I can play it through again and be bad.

i picked nice becauce thats the way the story is set up at the beginning, it kinda leads you to be good from what i remember (its been 10 years since ive played the first 2 CDs) :D

i would like to go the bad route but i dont know if i can play the game again

do you have fun in the castle? man what a nightmare running all over the place 4 or 5 times, some rooms i got sick of seeing .. heh

Yeah, the game does drag quite a bit when you get into the castle. I am a terrible cheater though and have been using my guide to fly through disc 3.

I gave up on this game, atleast for the time being. The last disc I am just not enjoying. It is almost like a different game.

Tempted to change my vote and reply the 1st 2 good discs as a jerk. I just might ...

Disc 3 is almost non stop puzzles. Grab an item on floor 1 to use for a puzzle on floor 2. Repeat dozens of times. It is all fetch quests and backtracking. Manage your swelled inventory to solve illogical puzzles in a dark drab castle.

I missed the quirky characters, interesting conversations, and wide open & varied worlds found on the 1st 2 discs where puzzles were balanced appropriatley w/exploration. :(

Interestingly, I've read a few reviews that feel just the opposite of me.
