But I have had my FZ-10 for almost 10 years and have never gotten new games until now...just wanted to know, can you play european and japanese games on an american system or do you need something special? Sorry, again, just curious...

The 3DO is region free,
that means you can play any 3DO game on any 3DO system. :D
You also have a FZ-10 which is a good thing
I've heard people having problems reading certain games
on goldstar or other 3DO versions.

Some games, by design, are not region free.

Soccer Kid, Casper, Power Kingdoms are not region free on the 3DO. This was done by the developers.

Some Japanese games won't run because they the Japanese FZ1 had in built support for Kanji... (If i remember correctly.)

Haha... I know what you mean

I've been playing Lord of the Rings Online MMO lately, and the wife is ready to strangle me.

I just got a new room in the house. I've been downgraded. :(

but now the monitor is all mine but I've had to put all my 3DO games in the garage. It's true. And all my PS2/Xbox/GC/DC games.

but now the room is all mine. I'm going to smuggle in what I need.

...

Azuma is sending me a new bunch mind. God bless Azuma.

Indeed, Azuma is quite good. MOJ is probably best & most open source for 3DO software from the land of the rising sun. Now if only the US Dollar would get stronger against the Yen again it'd be even better.

I like the US Dollar right where it is.

I got a laptop in Frys for £600 when I was last in the US, where normally in the UK it would have cost £1100. It's a combination of a weak dollar and ripp-off britain
