What would happen if you stuck 240volts into a 110volt rated FZ-10? The answer is the fuse pops. Replace the fuse however, and the it works. Phew. The bigger question: Why am i so stupid? What was I thinking?

haha, nope!
its that little voice on the other side of your shoulder that is always saying 'no...you dont need that' as apposed to the one on the other side saying 'BUY BUY BUY!!!' .
Can quite often be confused with a wife though.

Lucky, pretty much the same happened to me with a PC someone set to 115V on the power-supply in the back.
Loud "POPP", smoke and smell from the PSU was all I got in addition to a dead motherboard and two fried CPUs.
Strangely, the Ram was still ok!
