Yeah Sony did pay off Panasonic to kill the 3do, and steal it for themselves! Look what I found at a thrift store in downtown Tokyo last week:
It is a working Sony model FZ-PS1 3do development mule!
It plays 3do and some early generation Playstation games! Apparently they decided to go a different direction with the design. Notice, 2 control ports.
Amazing.

man. too much hype lol. What was the money conversion rate from australian dollars when the 3do came out? Would of been $2000 for all of that? heh.
