I suppose more often than not people are not fully satisfied w/a finished game (if only 1 more level, enemy, secret etc... could have been put in) In any event I like Gex as is, but a good read.

Really makes me wish 2D gaming would have been more fully explored on the 3DO... Shame the industry was in such a rush into 3D.

The 2D capabilities of the 3DO were dazzling at the time. Gex looked really lush stood next to the old 16bit 2D games. The other console that was 2D was the Jaguar. I still look at Rayman and Pitfall in complete awe.

I played Grim Grimoire and Odin Sphere on the PS2 recently and the difference between these and what the 3DO/Jag could do isn't all that great I reckon.
