Picard song is very well done. The other songs by dark materia are pretty awesome too. Very well timed out. Im sure it took quite a good while to get it perfect.

Every specific console-related forum defends their own system. That's what they are there for.
I mean, look at the NES geezers, to those guys the NES is best 8-bitter ever.
The truth, out of the whole 2200 games library (Famicom/NES), you maybe get 200 good games and the rest of the games are rubbish.

Same with 3DO, maybe 20 - 50 good games, but the rest?

It's all number relevant, systems with a small gaming library you notice the bad games more easy as the rubbish titles always outweigh the good ones.

I'd say out of the 700 US games there are about 500 good games.

I can relate to what you're saying about the NES. I remember when I was a wee lad. I'd go to the video store and rent a game... and more times than not it would be back in the case on the kitchen table ready to be returned and I would be back to playing Megaman 2, Mario Bros 1-3, Metroid, Lolo, Double Dragon etc. I would say many games in the NES library aren't exactly bad, but seriously average and not even close to the high standards set by a few games.

it takes a very special older game to compete favourably with a bang-up-to-date game.

Although, for fan boys (like me) it's often hard to see that.
