4DO & Freedo, we have tried playing some 200 games on them - if you have a question we might be able to help!

audio glitches in 4d0

Post by MathUser » Mon Nov 30, 2015 5:41 am

I take it 4do is the best 3dO emulator out there but when I use it the audio is pretty messed up so I play it with the volume down. I tried messing with the audio sync a bit but it didn't seem like it fixed it. Could it just be that I have 2 GB RAM? I plan on upgrading to 16 GB RAM soon so hopefully that will fix it.

What is your system specs and what game are you trying to run? Also turning off some of the options that enhance the graphics might stop the audio from skipping.

I don't know my system specs but I did find turning off the smoothing filter helped a bit, but not good enough to make me un-mute the sound.
