Freedo updates

Post by Trev » Fri Mar 13, 2009 7:01 pm

I'm curious about a few things w/Freedo, & since the site seems dead figured I'd ask here. They have to do w/the 3 legal issues of going open source (what were/are they?) Also, is a new site still being pursued? (every 3do scene site seems DOA btw) :?:

The whole legality thing seems a bit weird. I mean who cares? Honestly? Who? Surerly the makers of MAME or PSXemu or whatever would be court ages ago, I kind feel that who ever owns the 3DO technology is likely not to care

Sorta unrelated, but did they ever give you any tips w/the Dr. Hauzer thing?

No. They offered to encrypt it for me, but I had a nagging doubt there was a £££ waiting behind that offer. Although I cannot qualify that, so I'm probably being unfair.
