So, I just built a new machine
for myself, and thought to myself, "Self, I'll bet this new rig can finally run a 3DO emulator prroperly." So I downloaded the 4DO installer package, installed it, and it crashed immediately upon launch.
After doing some rudimentary Googling, I discovered that I could get it to launch by running it as an Administrator, but I'd prefer to not have to do that for fairly obvious reasons.
This system is running a very fresh install of Win7 SP1 x64. The crash info in the "problem details" pane is as follows:
Problem Event Name: CLR20r3
Problem Signature 01: 4DO.exe

Has this issue ever been solved, or will I need to always run this as an admin?
