I've been looking into another emulator that was very recently updated. I believe Altmer (originally from FreeDO) is the main contributor to it.

I don't know Russian, so I've had a hard time using this properly, but I have been able to get a game to load.
If I've recall Altmer's original goals correctly, this emulator should support hardware acceleration. If this is true, it should be possible to run 3D games at significantly high resolutions! I haven't gotten it to work yet, but I find this very exciting!
