Resistance Retribution

Post by Trev » Mon Apr 06, 2009 12:42 am

Anyone play it yet? Thoughts? Worth picking up?

Glad to see it finally land on the psp, let's hope the system gets another wind. Looks like there are some good titles in the pipeline.

I didn't mind the PS3 first one but the second one has indeed bored me to death. I might give the PSP version a go. The reviews haven't exactly set the world on fire - but then most reviewers are idiots.

Control issues w/just the one nub seems the common complaint. Same song & dance for the psp. :?

Okay, I picked this up on Saturday. I like the sci-fi story, it's a bit different. I enjoyed the first game on the PS3 through sheer necessity possibly, but the game was actually alright I thought. The second PS3 game was sadly just too boring for me to continue. I'd say that this PSP version is actually, in regards the story, better than the second PS3 outing. But yeah, the controls are a bit toady. Some female Chimera turned up, that I'm supposed to shoot in the head and my fingers actually dislocated themselves and ran off. I'm typing this with my nose.

A good PSP game is:

Ace Combat X (better than Ace Combat 6 IMHO)
God of War.

:)
