Screen Shot Save States

Post by Devin » Mon May 04, 2009 7:24 pm

Okay, time for you guys to earn your keep.

Lend me your knowledge and let me know which games you can remember had a Screen Shot associated with a Save State. So it was easy to remember where you left off. I seem to remember Half-Life 2 was attributed with this innovation but I'm primarily interested in games circa 1990's. Any and all help appreciated.

I found one! Fallout on PC 1997 has that feature.

Seriously? So it actually has a little screen shot next to your saved game?

Yes, in fact it helps when you are trying to figure things out. You can go back to your saves states and look at an image of the rooms you were in.

Plus there was Déjà Vu in '85, and The Uninvited in '86 but I can't recall if they had them as well. I think I recall The Uninvited having them but I know for sure Shadowgate did.
