Coming to America

The 3DOkid world tour 2011 continues unabated. Two trips to America are lined up. Santa Clara next week no less, and Las Vegas in August.
If anyone has any tips on how to enjoy Vegas more than I did last year, they would be greatly received. I'm staying at The Encore. I'm no gambler really, but a Dave and Busters or similar would go down a treat

I just moved here from NV and I lived there for 12 years and only went to Vegas once, and for a school trip. So sorry I won't be much help. I got 'friends' in Vegas I could hook you up with but the problem is they are not the best kind of 'friends'.

oh um no I meant they are shady people well ok maybe they do deal in um stuff but I wouldn't know I am clean. I do know they like to party though.

I believe I've noted before, but to be safe: Casino arcades > Dave & Busters. To help parents ignore their kids, casinos crank up the value. We found the multi-screen, six player X-Men brawler set to give nine lives per quarter. The casino proper was ignored as we flipped the game several times on a few dollars.

I'm in Santa Clara now. I should be tired, I'm not, but I'm a little hazy as to what day it is. The laptop says Tuesday but it also say's 3:10am so I'm not trusting that, it's not dark for starters. The phone says Monday 7pm but I've been up for 21 hours and I've seen 7pm twice now. Damn tricky technology.
I do know it's warmer in the UK. Which is shocking.

well the only places we went to in Vegas were MGM Grand, New York New York and Circus Circus, Circus Circus was pretty good for non-casino fun the other two were just to massive for me I am small town person so I only ever went to Vegas just that one time and it was for school. We had a track meet there.

I'm going home tomorrow.
I'm still fully intending to do a grand tour of this country. It really is awesome. There's lot's of things, that you americans probably think is dumb, that I want to see and do here. Not least of all meet some of you guys
