I just got a 32" Trinitron TV I found free by the side of the road. It works perfectly, and has all the bells and whistles, including S-Video, three different RCA A/V inputs, and PIP (Picture In Picture), a feature I'll never use but is still awesome (you can tune into two different stations at the same time).
Even better, the day before, I was perusing the state surplus store for electronic junk and struck gold. I got a relatively new (as in made within the last 10 years, for a change) JVC A/V receiver, with Dolby Digital and surround sound, for $20.
Fuckin' steal.
Now, here's the greatest part of all. On Friday, I received a letter from the college I've been trying to get into. Not only have I been accepted, they're giving me a $15,000 Transfer Scholarship. Now, the tuition is about $20,000, keep in mind, so that means I'm going to school for only about $5,000!
What's next?

I can top that, I found a working Magnavox CD Video Laser Disc Player in excellent condition at a thrift store for five bucks. The guy thought it was just an old cd player cuz they get those old style over sized cd players all the time. Ok your deal is better still but had to at least get mine in too.
