For 3DO fans on the East coast ...

I just got our phone/internet back after being w/o if for about 3 days. Amazingly we never lost power, despite our town being reported as having 100% loss. Most of my firends and family that are local are still w/o power ... my boss who is the next state up has no power ... even my inlaws 6 hrs away lost power. I have no idea how we were so fortunate.

Trees are down everywhere ... the road before my parents road has had a big tree laying acorss downed power lines for days ... it could be days more before they get to it. Gas stations are closed, those that are opened are running out, and the lines extend to the highway ramp dozens of cars deep! Markets are still closed w/windows taped up, or are running off generators (canned goods a plenty, but no frozen stuff)

Crazy ...

My parents just got power back on Sat ... 6 days w/o.

Here in CT I lost power for 5 full days and got some water in the basement.
Good thing I put a new roof on recently

Ohh yeah I lost my salt water reef tank Could have been a lot worse though.
