Most exciting game of '07

Post by Trev » Wed Sep 26, 2007 1:48 am

Excluding the new 3DO releases from OlderGames, what (if any) of the new titles in '07 have you most excited?

For me, the new game I want most is the 'Legend of Zelda - Phantom Hourglass' for the DS. Sequel to my favorite Zelda game ever, the Wind Waker!

I agree. I'm really excited about Phantom Hourglass as well. Windwaker was excellent, I keep trying to spread the word but people are too closed minded :-(. Halo 3... Mario Galaxy... and the new Smash Bros.

I haven't bought a new game in over a year... then BIOSHOCK happened!

This really has restored my faith in modern games, it's quite an extraordinary release. I've not been soooo into a game since DEUS EX! Screenshots and GamePlay footage really can't do the experience of actually playing this game justice. If that wasn't enough, just bought Team Fortress II as part of the orange box. Principally for Episode 2 of Half Life 2, but TF2 has made an on-line gamer of me! I hate on-line games, but this is something else.

Looking forward to the aforementioned HL episode alongside Portal and I also intend to get Company of Heroes Opposing Fronts. Maybe Gears of War for PC as well.

I played alot of bioshock :) After my playing though i dont think its best of the year imo. It's still a good game though.

and TF2 is a good amount of fun! btw, my steam id is Bryzian.

I played the demo for enemy territory quake wars. It's not too bad really.

BIOSHOCK is a game I can get truly lost in during the whole experience. Definitely my number 1 :D

I find enemy territory quake wars hard to swallow after playing Team Fortress 2, it's just too much fun for its own good.

Has anyone here played Metroid Prime Corruption for the Wii? From what I've seen & heard, it looks like it would rank up there w/the years best.

If i had a wii i would definitly be playing that game now. I LOVED Metroid Prime 2. I think I would have to say its my favorite GC game and I usualy cant call a favorite game for a system.
