If not, how bad is the PSX port?

The PSX port is nasty all day long. I tried very recently - but I couldn't stomach it. The PC version will run under XP. There is a Wing Commander fansite that will help you make it so!

The PSX version will run happily on any Playstation (PS2, PSP, PS3) but if you are willing to hack around, stick with the PC version - which isn't great either but it looks a bit better. not much but a bit. in all honesty WC doesn't feel right on the PS controller.

I personally hoped that either the PS3 or ePSX (the Playstation emulator) would upscale or enhance WCIV graphics to make it more 'right'. But neither does.

God, I believe, intended WCIV for the 3DO...

Because I'm a collector and the game is cheap enough to afford. Like I said in the previous thread, I only pirate when I can't find or can't afford the games.
