capcom 6 button controllers

hi,
as mentioned in an earlier thread i have 2 capcom 6 button controllers, are they really "rare"? i can't seem to find any info on them here or 3do today

Rare in physical stores yes, but as for online... I can't really say so. I'm always hearing about how great they are for the fighting games. And I come across them now and then on Jap stores that ship overseas. But I really have never wanted one (due to the color scheme) so I've never kept a close eye on it. I had a bunch of the Super Famicom ones and sold them years ago, they are good for SFII for sure, but you can use one on your 3DO with an adapter.

I have two. and I got them easy.

So next time I come across one in a Jap store I should buy it and make some kinda 3DO contest here to see who gets it?

Or be greedy and hold onto it for a cool trade...

this why i asked, i bought both of mine really easily and very cheeply, so i wondered why they were described as rare.
also colour scheme? what's wrong with black with blue buttons?

Blue buttons? That's the Super Famicom one... I've only seen the 3DO ones with red, grey, and hideous green buttons, plus the directional pad is a faded grey with big round glob behind it. Maybe you have a converted SF one or someone couldn't stand the buttons either and changed them on you?

The Gamepad 6 from Performance is a decent alternative for any who can't locate the Capcom controller.
