I always wanted one of these, just had some issues with power conversions etc. Anyway, I found a step down transformer for it and now run my 3DO from 240 volt -> 110 volt.
What really impresses me with the system is just how odd it is. We never had anything like this in Australia. Some of those FMV games are very weird, which is great. I went from Master System to SNES back in the day, so being able to play some of the old pc ports has also been great. ie Star Control 2.

The Goldstar model was officially released here in 240 v but was still NTSC as importing the Hong Kong version was cheaper than importing the European model . I always have 3do stuff available to sell locally - if you are after anything let me know.
