3DO Ultimate Mortal Kombat III ... well, sort of...
I was going to wait until I could compile and author a disk (if it's even possible) before sharing this, but, what the hell...
No promises that anything exciting will come of this...

I think they are in the safest hands possible - and we never ask where they come from.would you mind dumping the disks into disk images and sharing them? It's the best way to preserve them.
Where have you found that stuff, by the way?
Can we change Bitrate's status from Demi-God to God please!

Considering that it says Williams on the Mac disc thats in the picture we can assume that the 3do version was handled by them as well and I guess they might have sold their stuff around this period:
Just pure speculation from me :p
It appears they mainly do gambling/casino stuff these days http://www.wms.com/Up until about 1992, Williams Electronic Games Inc. had been developing videogames as well as manufacturing pinball machines. Most of the videogames containing the Williams label were renditions of coin-op games. In 1994, WMS Industry purchased Tradewest and renamed it Williams Entertainment Inc. Williams Entertainment Inc. published, developed and distributed their own unique games as well as those made by their fellow subsidiary Midway Games.
Then in 1996 WMS Industries acquired Time-Warner Interactive Inc., which included Atari Games. It is believed that this purchase kick-started the 1996 formation of Midway Home Entertainment Inc., a division of Midway Games Inc. Williams Entertainment Inc. was merged into the new corporation and an Atari Games Division was formed. In 1998 Midway Games Inc. was spun off and sold to its stockholders to become independently owned and operated.
Just pure speculation from me :p

Hey Bitrate,
That's really sweet man. I'm glad to see something like that, is in the hands of someone who values it, and not somebody who goes "oh..what's this? eh.." n just throws it out. Hell, that could be the last copy of those out there!
If you someone manage to compile that onto a playable disc, I'd hope you'd share it.
Awhile back I had talked with Andrew Loony at bit, and I know he still has a dev kit and stuff. Perhaps I could ask em if he'd be willing to help out or something.

Would changing the Kid's status to "messiah" be pushing it ?
I'd just like add a message I got from RJ regarding this post :

I wish there was some way to uncover the 3DO security codes.

I've got 1 question, bitrate. How much information are there on this CD? Is there really all the animation/art/music/code to make it a workable game? Even if it'd be a beta of an alpha version)

Just what we need: Another forum full of morons that steal other people's pictures from various websites, removing watermarks and don't state the source.totaku wrote:Our forum moved to http://forum.3doplanet.org.ru

I would ask you to take your words back. We are not making such things. We are not morons. We are not using other people's pictures or whatever without permission and give information about our sources. We are making our own data, OK? Such as reviews, or walkthroughs, or pictures. There are no reasons to be so agressive.
I'm going to make these disks a Christmas release for the 3DO and UMK-3 fans.
There isn't a lot of data, but if memory serves, there are some image files on the CD and some C code on the 3 1/2's.
In the next couple of weeks I'll gather the files together from the CD and floppies and upload them to MediaFire.
When it's ready to go I'll post a link here.

I appreciate the kind words guys/gals.
I'm going to scan in some of the documentation I have about the game as well.
Some of the memo's between Panasonic and the developer are interesting. It is very clear that Panasonic was getting extremely frustrated with the team handling the port when deadline after deadline was being missed.

Here are a couple of pages taken from an internal Panasonic memo that convey some of the frustration.
Keep in mind that this memo was written months after development on the game was supposed to have been well underway.
Percentage wise, almost a whopping 30% of the expected development cycle had been squandered up to that point
